Des Moines Register reporter Perry Beeman goes on a 10.5-hour chimp trek through Gishwati Forest as scientist Rebecca Chancellor looks for evidence of the endangered chimps she's studying.
Perry Beeman reported from Rwanda as part of a grant from the International Reporting Project.
