Reporting on Haiti After the Earthquake
Dr. Paul Farmer began Partners in Health in Haiti more than three decades ago with the mission of improving infrastructure to alleviate poverty and providing health care in cooperation with the government. Through chance or fate, Farmer and his family traveled to Rwanda the morning before the earthquake struck the island in January 2010.
