Cultural Dynamics of Foreign Health Reporting
Jill Braden Balderas reported on malaria in Uganda as a spring 2011 IRP Fellow. In this video, she discusses how foreign reporters--particularly women--adjust to the dynamics of new cultures.
Joining her is Ann Kim, another global health fellow, who reported from Botswana on infant circumcision. In the same interview, Jill and Ann discuss how journalism has begun crossing the bounds of media.
