Few people mourned the death last week of the infamous Ugandan dictator Idi Amin. The former despot openly admired Adolf Hitler, fed government ministers to crocodiles, proclaimed himself King of Scotland and plunged his country into economic ruin.
One of his boldest moves was to expel 80,000 Asians - the country's mercantile elite. He claimed he was returning Uganda to Ugandans.
But thirty-one years later some of those Asian exiles have returned to Uganda . . . and with them a new wave of Indian immigrants. For some Ugandans that has stirred up old feelings about race and power in the east African country.
Freelance broadcaster Jessie Graham was recently in Uganda and she prepared this documentary report.
