Na Eng is a field producer for the national PBS news magazine show " NOW." She has produced a number of public policy documentary packages, as well as interview segments. In addition, she has field produced in hurricane-ravaged Mississippi, in Jordan to interview a former Abu Ghraib prisoner, and France to interview former weapons inspector Hans Blix. Before joining "NOW," Eng was a researcher for NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw and an associate producer for a Bill Moyers documentary series on the history of the Chinese in America. While on a Fulbright Fellowship, she shot and directed an independent documentary profiling a family living in the shadow of AIDS in Zimbabwe. She went to college at Columbia University and earned her master's in International Affairs at Columbia's Graduate School of International and Public Affairs. Born in Cambodia, she grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota.
