Ryan Anson
Ryan Anson is a freelance photojournalist based in Washington D.C. and Southeast Asia. He is currently represented by Network Photographers, a London-based photo agency. He has worked in more than 20 countries while traveling in Africa, Asia and Europe. In the last three years, he has worked on stories for a variety of magazines and newspapers including The Washington Post, TIME-Asia, BusinessWeek, The Far Eastern Economic Review, The New York Times and others. He has also produced numerous visual advocacy projects for international and Philippines-based non-government organizations such as Community and Family Services International, Compassion Canada, Shangilia Mtoto wa Afrika and the United Nations Development Program. His two-year documentary about conflict and peace building in the southern Philippines, entitled �Mindanao on the Mend,� was exhibited at the photojournalism festival in Perpignan, France in 2002, and later published in a book by Anvil Inc. in 2003.
