Rebecca Sinderbrand is a New York-based reporter, most recently for Newsweek, where she reported for more than a dozen cover stories and contributed extensively to political coverage. She traveled with the Bush campaign in 2004, co-bylining that year's presidential profile cover story and reported extensively from Vermont Governor Howard Dean's campaign trail during the primaries. She regularly represented the magazine on CNN, CNN International, C-SPAN, MSNBC and other national and international media outlets. Previously she worked for the Associated Press national desk in Washington and at the AP's Pennsylvania statehouse bureau. She has written for publications including Slate, Salon, The Boston Globe and U.S. News & World Report.
