Michael Kavanagh is a New York based radio journalist who has produced and reported on a wide range of domestic, international, and cultural issues for several National Public Radio shows including “All Things Considered,” “Talk of the Nation,” “The Connection,” and “On the Media.” He most recently worked as an assistant producer for Public Radio International's “The Next Big Thing,” and was associate producer of “Radio Rookies,” WNYC Radio's journalism program for New York City teens. He has worked in Belfast, studied in Jaipur, India, and reported from Brazil. He graduated with a B.A. in literature from Yale.
