Raghuram Vadarevu is an online reporter for Projo.com, the web site of The Providence Journal. He writes breaking news stories for the web site and covers technology for the Rhode Island-based paper. He joined the web site staff in May 2000. Earlier, he was a staff writer for The Journal, covering several communities and writing a column for the paper's lifestyles section. Born in India, he came to the United States in 1979. He received a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
