Beatrice Hogan
Beatrice Hogan is a researcher at Vanity Fair magazine in New York and a freelance journalist specializing in Central Asian issues. Previously she worked as a reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty in Prague and New York, covering political, economic and environmental issues for the Central Asian broadcast services. In 1992-94 she served in the first group of Peace Corps volunteers sent to Uzbekistan, where she taught English Language and Literature at Samarkand State University. She holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a B.A. in English from Georgetown University.
