Marc Ramirez
Marc Ramirez is a reporter for the Seattle Times, where since 1996 he has written news and features on topics ranging from social, cultural and spiritual issues to youth, recreation and travel. He also worked for the Times from 1990-94 as a Sunday magazine staff writer and education reporter before spending more than two years writing for the Phoenix New Times, an alternative weekly in his hometown. Prior to completing his master's in Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley, he reported for the Phoenix Gazette and interned with the Wall Street Journal. He has an American Studies degree from the University of Notre Dame.
