Lisa Takeuchi (n�e Reilly) Cullen is a staff writer for TIME magazine in New York. She joined the magazine in 2001 as a Tokyo correspondent. Previously, she was a staff writer for Money magazine in New York. She has contributed articles to The New York Times, among other publications. Her first book, Remember Me: A Lively Tour of the New American Way of Death, will be published by HarperCollins in August 2006. She is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism and obtained bachelor's degrees in journalism and English from Rutgers College. Her website is www.lisacullen.com.
