Steve Inskeep
Steve Inskeep is a correspondent for National Public Radio in Washington. A graduate of Morehead State University in Kentucky, he worked as an anchor and reporter for radio stations and freelance writer for publications in New York. From 1992 to 1995 he served as news director for WBGO-FM, the NPR affiliate in Newark, New Jersey, during which time the station won numerous awards for its coverage of poverty, corruption, urban development, race relations and other issues. In 1996 he joined NPR as a political reporter and was assigned to NPR�s Washington desk in 1997.
