David Case
David Case is a freelance writer based in San Francisco. He began working as a journalist in 1995 in Bangkok, where he covered technology for European trade journals. From mid-1995 to 1997 he lived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, writing about culture and business for Reuters and regional publications. He published articles in Wired magazine on the Vietnam government�s policy toward the Internet and in the Christian Science Monitor on Vietnamese opinions of the war with the U.S. He started his career in 1988 managing environmental projects for the World Environment Center in New York. After opening a WEC office in Jakarta in 1993, he moved to Bangkok to work for an environmental project of the Federation of Thai Industries. In Bangkok he completed an executive MBA at the Sasin Institute, a program of the Kellogg and Wharton Schools of Management with Chulalongkorn University. He received a B.A. from Middlebury College in 1987.
