IRP Fellow Kimberlee Acquaro nominated for Academy Award

IRP Fellow Kimberlee Acquaro was nominated as finalist for the 2005 Academy Award "Best Documentary Short" for "God Sleeps in Rwanda." Acquaro's film, based on her IRP reporting, received numerous other honors, including the Audience Award at the 2005 Silverdocs/AFI/Documentary Film Festival, the Audience Award at the Aspen ShortFest 2005 and the Festival Award at the 2005 Ojai Film Festival.
