Rob Verger is a New York-based editor, reporter, and writer for Newsweek and The Daily Beast. His work frequently focuses on international affairs, arts and culture, and health and science. He contributes articles to both publications and is a liaison to Newsweek’s foreign partners, including Newsweek Pakistan, Korea, Japan and Polska. He is a former writing instructor at Columbia University, and his work has also appeared in The Boston Globe and other publications. He also reported from Ethiopia on an IRP trip.
