Dante Ramos is deputy editorial page editor of The Boston Globe. He writes often about economics, transportation, and other issues. Before coming to the Globe's editorial board in 2006, he worked for The Times-Picayune in New Orleans as deputy editorial page editor, as an editorial writer, and as a beat reporter covering education and local government. He has also written for The Economist, The New Republic, The New York Times Book Review, Salon.com, and other publications. He received a BA in government from Harvard College in 1993.
