Eisele is currently the supervising senior editor at “Morning Edition,” the network’s flagship news program. She is also an Emmy Award-winning producer of “The Civil War” series and other films with Ken Burns, and has contributed to numerous radio and film documentaries on political and cultural figures. Eisele is an adjunct professor of Journalism at Georgetown University and has lectured widely on the foundations and practice of American journalism. She is a past fellow of the US Japan Society, the Salzburg Seminar, and the French-American Foundation. She traveled to Kenya on vacation two years ago, and is thrilled to return for deeper understanding.
