IRAQ, Spring 2000 -- Quil Lawrence reports on the devastating effect of the ten-year embargo against Iraq. Even with the recent program allowing Iraq to trade oil for food and medicine, the average Iraqi suffers from malnutrition and poor sanitation so that even common diseases or simple injuries are often deadly under the embargo.
