Azad Essa is a journalist at Al Jazeera, covering politics and development on the African continent. He is also co-founder of The Daily Vox, based in Johannesburg, and the author of The Moslems are Coming (Harper Collins India, 2012).
Essa was awarded a prior fellowship from IRP, reporting from Zambia in 2013.
