Elizabeth Atalay is a multimedia producer. She is senior editor and a social media manager at World Moms Blog, which has been named a “Must Read” by The New York Times Motherlode and a Forbes Top 100 Websites for Women 2012 & 2013. She founded Documama.org as a digital platform examining global development, advocacy, and innovative solutions to end the cycles of extreme poverty. Atalay has traveled to more than 55 countries around the world, most recently to South Africa on an insight trip with the Global Team of 200. She has worked on social media campaigns for global nonprofits such as Save the Children, WaterAid, ONE.org, UNICEF, United Nations Foundation, World Pulse, and the Gates Foundation. Her writing has also been featured on ONE.org, EnoughProject.org, and GaviAlliance.org. She studied documentary filmmaking and anthropology, and holds a Master's degree in Media Studies from The New School in New York.
