Ethan Lindsey is a producer for “Marketplace,” the Los Angeles-based public radio business program of American Public Media. Lindsey produces an hour of morning news that airs as a segment of “Morning Edition” on National Public Radio stations around the country. Before rejoining “Marketplace” in 2010,” he worked from 2007 for Oregon Public Broadcasting in Bend, Oregon, as a producer and correspondent, leading coverage of health, politics and other stories for NPR, “Marketplace” and other national public radio shows. From 2004 to 2006, he worked for “Marketplace” in Los Angeles as an assistant producer, broadening program audiences to younger listeners and producing a weekly podcast. From 2003 to 2004 he worked as a reporter for the Salinas Californian, covering government and political news. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship in 2006 – 2007 to work in Berlin, Germany, as a guest editor at Deutsche Welle and reported stories for radio programs in the U.S., Germany and Netherlands. He has received a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley and a M.S. in Journalism from the Columbia University School of Journalism.
