Charlott Schönwetter is a feminist blogger, researcher and activist from Berlin, Germany. She holds a B.A. degree in Area Studies Asia/Africa and Gender Studies and a M.A. degree in African Studies. Her master thesis was about gender representation and negotiation in African novels dealing with child soldiers. She started to blog in the beginning of 2010 on Afrika Wissen Schaft, which is still her main blog. She also writes guest posts for the big German feminist blog Mädchenmannschaft, and My Feminist Way. She is preparing a new group blog called femgeeks.de. In 2010 she was nominated as Female Blogger of the Year by the Mädchenmannschaft.
