Edie Rubinowitz is a journalist with WBEZ, the Chicago affiliate of National Public Radio. She produces and is a guest host for the daily international affairs show called “Worldview.” Her reports have aired on NPR’s “Morning Edition,” and “All Things Considered,” as well as on syndicated shows such as “Marketplace,” “Latino U.S.A.,” and “The World.” She started with WBEZ in 1994 as a community issues reporter, covering public housing, transportation and neighborhood groups. Previously, she was a reporter for the Nogales International, a newspaper on the U.S.-Mexico border, where she covered environmental and health problems as well as taking photos of the “Pet of the Week.” She has taught English to factory workers in Mexico and to business managers in Argentina. She received a B.S. degree in Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
