Purnima Ramakrishnan is a senior editor and manager of social good projects at World Moms Blog, named one of Forbes’ Top 100 Websites for Women. She was the recipient of the BlogHer International Activist Award in 2013. She focuses primarily about motherhood and global activism, including women’s empowerment, maternal well-being, child survival, environmentalism, immunizations and non-denominational spirituality. She also writes for Impatient Optimists, The Huffington Post, Shot@Life and other outlets. She launched #Moms4MDGs campaign, which has promoted awareness about the Millennium Development Goals. She has a master’s degree in electronics engineering and designed vehicle electronics.
