Noel Paul is a feature writer for The Christian Science Monitor. He covers consumer issues, agriculture, and popular and material culture. Prior to joining The Monitor in 2000, he worked for "The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," a nightly news broadcast on PBS, and served in the White House press office. His career in journalism began as executive editor of the Cavalier Daily, the University of Virginia's daily student newspaper. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Virginia.
