Sara Olkon

Sara Olkon is a reporter with The Chicago Tribune. Previously, she was a general assignment reporter at The Miami Herald, where she spent time as an embedded war reporter with the Marines in Iraq. Other foreign assignments have included stories in Cuba, Guatemala, Hong Kong and Thailand. She began her journalistic career as an intern on the Op-Ed page at The New York Times. She graduated with honors from Tufts University and has a master's degree in Journalism from New York University.
