Marissa Miley is a Boston-based freelance journalist and bestselling author. She was a 2013 Kaiser Family Foundation Fellow in global health reporting at GlobalPost, where she is currently a global health correspondent. Her writing also has appeared in Nature Medicine, New Scientist, and the Huffington Post. She earned her M.A. in journalism from Columbia Journalism School, where she was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Fellow in science and health writing.
