Roderick McCullom is a multimedia producer who reports on politics, health, global development, race and sexuality. He has written and produced for ABC News, ABC New York, NBC Chicago, FOX Chicago and is a frequent contributor to The Atlantic and Ebony. He is also a regular contributor to Voice of Russia. McCullom has reported extensively on HIV/AIDS issues from across the Black Diaspora. He was a panelist at ICASA 2011 Addis Ababa and AIDS 2012 Washington DC. He also reported from AIDS 2010 Vienna and the 2011 Black Diaspora MSM Conference in the Dominican Republic. He is a contributor to the anthology For Colored Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Still Not Enough. He also contributed to the anthology Obama and the Gays: A Political Marriage. He began his career at The Los Angeles Times and his writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Advocate, OUT.com, The Chicago Reader, The Grio, The Root and elsewhere.
