Leslie Knopp is currently working as a freelance journalist. Most recently she has been writing and reporting on stories for a public affairs show out of KCTS, the public television station in Seattle. Prior to that, Leslie was a general assignment reporter at KOMO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Seattle. Previously, she was an investigative and consumer reporter at KGW-TV in Portland, Oregon, where she worked for five years. She has also worked at a number of television newsrooms in Wisconsin, her home state, including WITI-TV in Milwaukee. She has received multiple regional National Television Academy Emmy awards for her work in Portland and Seattle. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BA in journalism. She is a recipient of a National Press Fellowship.
