Nikole Killion is a correspondent for the Hearst-Argyle Washington bureau. Previously, she was an anchor/reporter at ABC 7/NewsChannel 8. Before that she was at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland where she was the primetime evening anchor. At WHAG, Nikole covered several of the area's top stories including the sniper trials, Tropical Storm Isabel and the inauguration of Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich. She also served as a weekend anchor/reporter for WFMD NewsRadio/AM 930 in Frederick, Maryland. Previously Nikole was an assignment editor and field producer for NBC News in New York where she covered the World Trade Center collapse on 9/11. Nikole has also worked on-air for Black Entertainment Television (BET), WKYT-TV in Lexington, Kentucky and New York One (NY1) News. Nikole is a member for the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). She is a former fellow of the International Womens' Media Foundation (IWMF) Leadership Institute for Women Journalists. She holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
