Nimisha Jaiswal is a freelance reporter based in New Delhi, India. After receiving her M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in 2014, she returned to India with the aim of broadening international news coverage in her home country. For the past two years, she has reported for publications around the world, including the Wall Street Journal, Le Monde, Public Radio International, GlobalPost, IRIN, New Internationalist and Scroll.in. She reports on topics ranging from the environment to religion and is particularly passionate about covering human rights in the world’s largest democracy.
