Geoffrey Giller is a freelance science writer and photographer based in Ithaca, NY. He first pursued a career in science, getting a master’s degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, before deciding that he would rather write about science than do it. Now, he often writes about aquatic ecosystems, and he has a special love for all things amphibian. His work has appeared in Scientific American, Audubon, bioGraphic, Hakai Magazine, and elsewhere. You can follow him on Twitter @GeoffreyGiller and find links to his writing and samples of his photography at his website.
