Mikaela Conley is a journalist based in New York City. Her work, which focuses on reproductive health, addiction, and refugees, has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Slate, Yahoo News, ABC News, Condé Nast Traveler, Glamour, and Global Citizen, among others. She was selected as a UN Foundation press fellow in 2016 and 2015, when she reported on reproductive rights in Uganda and Indonesia. In 2013, she was a National Health Journalism fellow through the University of Southern California, in which she reported on HIV hot spots in the U.S. Mikaela grew up in rural New Hampshire and has a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
