Jacob Baynham is an international freelance journalist interested in writing about people. He grew up between India and Colorado, a childhood that cultivated a love for languages and mountain landscapes. In his reporting, he looks for stories that reveal something about the human experience, how we suffer, love, hope and endure. He has written for Men’s Journal, Outside, Backpacker, Newsweek, Slate, Reader’s Digest, The Flyfish Journal, Cincinnati Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle and other publications. He lives with his wife in a small cottage on a big lake, near Polson, Montana.
