Tomas Ayuso is a freelance photojournalist from Honduras covering Latin America, migration and urban communities. He earned his BA in politics from Mercyhurst University and his MA in security and development at the New School. He is currently the lead Latin America investigator for Noria Research, a Paris-based conflict think tank. Ayuso has recently documented the Colombian conflict, the European refugee crisis and the fight for autonomy by indigenous groups across Latin America. His photographs on the Honduran migrant route through Mexico are currently on display at the World Bank in Washington, DC. His work has been published in different languages around the world for publications like Polo, Atlas, Weekendavisen, Subversiones, Al Jazeera, Vice, CSM, MSNBC, Slate and others.
